We’re a creative couple from England on a working holiday visa. My official name is Amy but I prefer to be known by my nickname Bear :)

We’ve loved(!) pet sitting around NZ for the past few months, meeting and caring for so many of your wonderful pals! We’re both non smokers and have grown up with pets ourselves, Jake with dogs, and Bear with many many cats. We treat all pet pals as our own and it becomes difficult to say goodbye!

We’re compassionate animal lovers and vegetarians. Jake works remotely, and we tend to treat pet sits as travelling breaks - so you can be assured we’ll be around to keep your property well maintained and your furry friends company.

For owners peace of mind while on holiday, we like to send regular photo updates so you can see your pets happy and content. We have our own transport and love meeting locals, exploring all the beautiful areas this country has to offer.

Bear & Jake were absolutely wonderful!! It was the first time I've ever needed dogsitters and they were amazing. They sent regular updates and photos which was so comforting. The dogs were so well cared for 🥰 The house was left beautifully clean and Bear left us a gorgeous drawn picture of the dogs overlooking the bay which is super special ❤️ Would highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We Highly recommend Bear / Jake and would not hesitate to have them look after our fur Baby again, with our two they went above and beyond with caring for them (as 1 was sick), they were thoughly spoilt with pats and cuddles and the house was left clean and tidy. while we were overseas they sent plenty of pictures of well contented pets. We cannot thank Bear and Jake enough for helping out with our fur babies.

This is the second time we have hosted Bear and Jake. They are totally responsible, friendly and reliable people who were equally respectful of us, our property and especially our dog Kuri who absolutely loved them and already misses them. We would have them back again anytime. Totally recommended!

From the initial contact to our home coming.The house clean and tidy .The animals happy and content . Regular updates with photos of the adventures and chill out time 💜 A lovely meal cooked for us on our return.. We would definitely welcome them back 😀
