My name is Bernadette,
I am 60 years of age, and have recently re-located to my home-town of New Plymouth from Ohauiti, Tauranga.
I own my own home on the beachfront in North Taranaki which I will miss but my daughter has had a baby boy and I am now a Granny :), so I need to be back in the Bay for a while and I intend to spend at least a year in and around Tauranga/ Mount areas.
Please rest assured my priority at all times would be your animals, home and garden. I would be physically at your home 99% of the time. I have extensive home and pet care experience and we raised the children on 20 acres in Oropi and raised calves ,lambs, pigs, we also had dogs, cats, horses, chooks, kune pigs, rabbits (you name it :) )
I do have a 3 year old French Bulldog boy, he is small for a Frenchie and a very well mannered little man, he can stay with my daughter or son if this is not a suitable situation for him to stay with me although I would not like to leave him for a long length of time.
I also ran an Air B n B for 5 years from my previous home at 9 Diamond Head in Ohauiti.
I would treat your home with respect and care, and treat your pets with much love and attention.

Bernadette was awesome at looking after our menagerie of animals, small and large. She also took wonderful care of our home, leaving it in pristine order. Her little dog Billy was a delightful playmate to our dog. Bernadette communicated well before, during and after the house sit. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
It was our first time using kiwihousesitters. We struck it lucky with Bernadette and gorgeous Billie. Communication was great and updates appreciated. We came home to 2 very relaxed dogs. Bernadette put our minds at rest from the beginning. She and Billie are awesome . Highly recommend this lovely lady.

Bernadette is a fabulous house/dog sitter. Our dogs have been treated to great walks and plays with her dog Billy. House well cared for and she even froze the excess vegetables from the garden! Excellent communication too. A five star sitter.
Bernadette and Billy did such an incredible job looking after our home and our huntaway x Rocky. Photo updates were lovely and the house was left cleaner than we'd left it which we appreciated immensely having a wee baby at home! Thank you Bernadette! 😊
Bernadette was a fabulous house/dog sitter. Communication was excellent and I was able to meet her and her dog Billy prior to the sit. She kept in contact during the week which put my mind at ease. Bernadette was excellent! Great communication from the start and all through the sit. We were gone for 5 weeks and she made us feel at ease leaving our lab and home in her care. On our return we were greeted with a well looked after dog and home with a sneaky delicious meal in the fridge. Thank you Billy for being a good buddy to Pico!
We would highly recommend Bernadette as a house/dog sitter. She left our house spotless, weeded our garden and most importantly took great care of our little girl, Bali. She was like a fairy godmother! Her communication was excellent. We received photos and videos while we were overseas. She will be our first choice whenever we need a sitter in the future.
