We are an active retired professional couple who live in a retirement village in Rotorua. We have an elderly cat and a medium size dog. Our dog enjoys walks.
We are 10 minutes drive from central Rotorua and there is a bus service into town. There are also a range of shops within easy walking distance.
Whakarewarewa Forest is nearby with lots of walking and mountain biking opportunities. We are also a close drive to several lakes.
At the moment we are looking for someone to house sit for us 25 March to 15 April 2025
We are also available to house sit anywhere in the North Island. We are used to looking after pets and walking dogs, We are not used to farm animals.
We really enjoyed the experience of Brian and Jessica house sitting for us, they even came to introduce themselves to our dogs twice before the time we left for the airport.
Awesome communication, and we had a potential evacuation that Jessica was able to coordinate for us while out of the country. This made us feel comfortable and safe.

Fantastic sitter. Thank you so much for taking care of our cats and dog! House was as we left it and could tell care had been taken. Communication great, even though it was difficult due to our holiday accommodation having little cover. Was great to come home knowing home and animals had been cared for!! Can't thank you enough!
