YES we are both called Kerry, however bring very different skill sets to house sitting ............. I am the fussy attention to detail one and he is the pragmatic problem solving extraordinaire!
After more than 3 decades of raising our large family we found ourselves with an empty nest and more spare time than we needed. While we have promised those said children, in our retirement we were going to get a bus and park at each of their homes use all their hot water push our vegetables around our plates and spoil our grandchildren rotten! We have decided to come to your place instead!!! So in June 2022 we embarked on our house-sitting journey and are having a blast seeing so much of our wonderful country, meeting some lovely people and enjoying time spent with some loved family pets.
Pets and livestock are not a problem....we have always been dog owners, slaves to a tiny tabby have free range hens and periodically have pigs and pet lambs, goats and once had a Donkey called Donkey! We own a multi dwelling property in the Wairarapa so can leave our own home, and Frankie the cat in the capable care of those who kind of fell out of the nest into the houses next door. Gardens lawns plant watering what ever you need, I am sure we can manage.
We have so much trust in these two. They are very kind, keep the place just as we would and look after our 4-legged characters with their individual idiosyncrasies. So appreciate them both - and they always do some extra things on our return that are unexpected and sweet.
Kerry & Kerry are a lovely couple. They took great care of our cat Charlie and Kassie our dog. They had an unexpected extra to feed in Arthur the lamb who was premature and he was was well looked after. The chooks were all good and the other farm animals. The house was clean and tidy and they left us some milk, bread and snacks for our return. Communication was good .We would certainly recommend them for sitting.
Welcome back to Whakamarama. It's great having you both come and stay while and take care of our fur babies Krystal and Nyla. The home again perfect with treats in the fridge. We were able to relax and enjoy our break knowing we left all in capable hands. A special 'Thank You' for staying the extra night when our return flight was delayed. Look forward to our next break. What more can we say about these two wonderful people? Kerry and Kerry have looked after our place numerous times and cared for our cats and they are absolutely amazing. We always come home to a spotless home, kindly cooked meal and treats. This winter, a large amount of our firewood was chopped for kindling, our car cleaned and garden in wonderful shape. Kerry and Kerry were amazing house and pet sitters. We were worried about our border collie, Murphy, but he was so happy with Kerry and Kerry and loved their grandchildren here to visit. We came home to an immaculate house and property, plants in brilliant condition, happy pets and even delicious home made pumpkin soup in the fridge for us on our return. We couldn't be happier and will definitely hope they are available next time we go away. Highly, highly recommend these guys.

Kerry and Kerry are awesome house sitters. After being taken to airport for early morning flight, we left them in charge of not only our home but our precious pets. A very disdainful cat (that likes nobody), Krystal our little dog and chickens. Krystal spent a few days in search and waiting for her new mum and dad to return. Kerry's communication was great, sending us photos of our dog while we were away where we could see how well she was being looked after. OMG these guys are so accommodating, proactive and compassionate! The ‘Kerries’ met us prior to leaving and slotted in seamlessly; they were unfazed by the idiosyncrasies of our lifestyle property - even Betty (our pampered feline) took to them immediately, so we were comfortable that she (and our home) were in caring and capable hands.

Oh. My. Goodness. Kerry x 2 are the most perfect house/pet sitters. We just embarked on an ambitious landscaping project before jumping off to a more ambitious 5-6 month jaunt of holidays. K&K were extremely accommodating to fit in our varied trips away with some return home times in between. They looked after our cats with aplomb (including 2 very shy fosters) and I am not sure any of the cats missed us one bit. Kerry and Kerry looked after our home for three weeks while we were abroad. They did an amazing job and really went above and beyond. Our home is a lifestyle block and we have cattle, sheep, chickens, a cat and a very high energy and demanding dog. These 2 humans are just so special, they cared for our furbabies for 3 weeks, 1 of which very challenging but they both really made such an effort to gain their trust, to see them together when we were away was really amazing.
Both Kerry an Kerry listened an really took on board everything we explained, an went above an beyond.
They looked after our property as well an made sure everything was safe an secure at all times.

Our first time leaving our Dog Pico and house in the care of someone else and we had a fantastic experience. Kerry and Kerry are amazing. They kept exceptional care of our boy Pico and sent us photos while away which we loved. Excellent communication prior to arrival and through out the stay week. On return the house was immaculate, dog was tired and a beautiful lasagne in the fridge. Kind and Lovely people!
Kerry and Kerry were great with everything they did for us while we were away with the motel and the house.
They communicated with us all the time which was great and greeted our customers with a smile.
I would recommend them to any other motel minding jobs they do.

Wow, Kerry was an amazing house sitter. Wonderful communication! We can't speak highly enough of their care of our elderly cat and our house. We would have them back again anytime. Even had a batch of freshly baked scones awaiting us on our arrival home......please come back again
Kerry and Kerry looked after our pets and house for c15 weeks. We have 17 sheep, 2 donkeys, 2 goats, c50 ducks and chickens, 3 cats and 4 goldfish. The work required them to be at home each night for the cats and feeding out morning and evening all of the animals. They did a fantastic job in what is a demanding lifestyle block. Kerry and Kerry were the perfect house-sitters, from arriving at the said time, to departure. They kept in touch frequently with photos and comments about our little doggies. They followed our instructions and were able to keep our pets in their normal routines, in spite of the awful rainy weather!
