Kia ora, I am a responsible Scottish-Kiwi who loves animals and has called New Zealand home for 8 years. I like to stay active practising yoga, cycling, walking and spending time in nature. Looking for house and pet-sitting opportunities while I explore different areas of New Zealand.

I have owned pets and have experience looking after dogs, cats, chickens, fish, pigs, and gerbils, but happy to work with any animals that need care. I also enjoy gardening so would be happy to care for your indoor or outdoor plants while you are away.

I’m hoping to spend some time on creative work during my stay, so I can be at home with your beloved animals for large chunks of time through the day if necessary.

Karen looked after Duppie as if he was her own fur baby. He was happy when we returned and well looked after. Karen took him for walks and he even went to the beach. Our home was left the way it was found and everything was clean, even the bedding. We will recommend Karen as a house and pet sitter to anyone. We would love to have Karen as a sitter again when we need one in the future.
