I am a 67 years young woman currently living in the SW of France. I was born and brought up in New Zealand and then, as a lot of us Kiwi's do, I travelled to Europe to experience the different lifestyle here, and currently I'm still here. I have finally finished restoring and furnishing my old French farmhouse, I am interested in interior design and decorating, and cooking when I get the time. But now it is my time to reconnect with my roots in NZ. I have used house sitters over the years to find loving people to look after my fur babies, 2 beautiful Burmese cats and a moggy and various hens and a rooster. My last gorgeous 16yr old Burmese baby is now no longer with me. I worked for 10 years before leaving NZ as a veterinary nurse in small animal practice. I also love being outdoors and love plants and am a keen gardener, having once studied horticulture.

I see the opportunity to travel yet have a base and a furry friend at the same time. A house without an animal would be so empty. I am very in tune with the needs and wants of an animal and also those of the pet parent. Having been a pet parent myself, I know what I want from a sitter for my pets, so would give the same high quality love and attention to any pet under my care. I also have a big respect and appreciation for the homes of others.
