We are an active retired couple who have returned to Hawkes Bay after 10 years in Australia. We are both double vaxed and have our boosters. We are non smokers and are very house proud and would take total care of both your home and pets.
We are happy to travel from southern Hawkes Bay to the Taupo region and to the Kapiti Coast. We will look at any times from 2 weeks to 12 months
Prior to going to Australia we always had a dog or cats. While we were in Australia we would look after a friends lovely standard poodle.
Our dog Nico is totally in love with Don and Cheryl. He loves it when they come back for visits if they are in town. We were very happy with their care of home and Nico plus their communications during our travels and we always ask them first if they can come to us if we need house sitting. But frequently they are booked up and I can see why. We unreservedly recommend Don and Cheryl for house and pet sitting.
Cheryl and Don were a pleasure to work with. We came home to a relaxed dog, and the house was nice and tidy. Would definitely use them again.

Cheryl and Don looked after our house and pets for three weeks while we were overseas. The cat, dog and chooks were very well cared for and seemed very at ease with the temporary change in their world. The house was nice and tidy on our return, and Cheryl left great caretaking notes for the handover back! Don and Cheryl were amazing housesitters - I returned to a beautiful clean house with fresh flowers in a vase and homemade pumpkin soup in the fridge, much appreciated after a long flight. They sent photos of my cat, mula every week to reassure me of her care.. Thank you both, I would love to have you back to Housesit again.
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
