Hello!

We are Sara and Jim. An animal loving, couple from Wales. We are currently living in Christchurch.

We would love the opportunity to help with pet sitting. We are both huge animal lovers and just love being around them. We have both grown up with dogs and understand what's needed to care for your beloved pooch.

Prior to nursing Sara has 5 years experience working in a Cattery which also housed small animals such as rabbits and birds. As a couple we have pet sat back home in the UK, both having cats stay at our house and also house-sitting/ doing drop ins.
Although we have no farming experience we would be more than happy to learn if shown the ropes.

We love the outdoors, going for walks and exploring this amazing country!

We consider ourselves to be caring, trustworthy and respectful. We understand the big responsibility that comes with looking after your fur baby/ house and we take this role seriously. We are clean and tidy people and have experience WOOFing so understand the courtesy involved in staying in someone els home.

Sara and Jim are the platinum version of housesitters - they are so friendly and willing, kind, appreciative, very flexible, I can't speak highly enough of them, they are a pair that any parent would be proud to call their own. They achieved a gold standard with our shy cat as he allowed both of them to pet him and even permitted Sara to pick him up, something even I am not allowed to do very often! Sara and Jim did a great job of looking after our pets and house, and were very understanding when we unexpectedly returned home to stay the first night due to a cancelled flight. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Sara and Jim felt like the house sitters' house sitters. The animals loved them and they were very adaptable to some of changes due to house renovation. Very thoughtful also. :)

Sara & Jim are such lovely young people, who we instantly found to be friendly & trustworthy, fun & easy going. They are both positive, kind & energetic, and we totally felt at ease leaving everything in their capable hands! Their broad experience with animals was also reassuring for us, & such peace of mind leaving our terrier George & cat Loui for almost 4 weeks. We highly recommend Sara and Jim as housesitters. They are friendly, kind, fun helpful and very conscientious. They looked after our dog, chickens and 2 kune kune pigs superbly and our house was very tidy on our return. We would love to have them house sit for us again in the future.

If you are looking to go away & know that your home & pets will be well looked after, well then, Sara & Jim are who you want. Not only did we come back home to 2 very happy & content cats & 2 rats, our house was left immaculately clean 😀. These 2 guys are just incredible human beings. So easy to communicate with, kind & caring. I just cannot praise them enough. They even left us an anniversary card & yummy choccie. How thoughtful is that?
