We're experienced (10 years).Non smoking farm and house sitters in NZ and Australia, Lucy has a National Police Certificate and Blue Card.
We sit in non-smoking houses with WIFI in quiet areas, preferably with a garden/ park close by.
Pets are treated as part of the family, we walk dogs every day. We own our own home and will respect yours Our aim is for you to come home to a clean house and happy pets. Instructions are followed and you are kept updated with photos and messages.
As well as house sitting we have looked after dogs and cats in our home as paid carers, and owned dogs, cats, chickens and guinea pigs. We maintained a half acre organic fruit and vegetable garden near Brisbane. We have fostered cats for the SPCA and Lucy has volunteered in their shelter.
It may be both of us or just Lucy sitting.
Lucy has taken excellent care of our house and pet dog Panda on three occasions for three to four-week long periods and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Panda is very well cared for and the house is immaculate on our return. The garden always benefits hugely from Lucy's ministering whenever she stays and we receive plenty of photos and emails to keep us updated with all house and dog news. We can't wait to have her back!

Lucy was able to step at short notice and was very understanding when we needed extra time before confirming the booking. At the meet & greet Lucy showed a good rapport with cats & we felt very comfortable leaving Theodora in her care. We received daily texts & photos and could see how well they were getting on together. Very happy to recommend Lucy to care for your pets.

Lucy was a phenomenal house/pet/garden sitter and I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and takes care of everything as if it is her own. Our cat, Maui, did wonderful with her and did not skip a beat when we returned from our 7 day trip. You can tell that Lucy has a natural gift with animals as our cat warmed to her immediately. Lucy left our house clean and tidy and it also felt as though when we got home we didn't have to skip a beat as we unpacked and settled back in. And ... This was our first time that we have had a "house sitter" and we have been really impressed with Lucy - she was everything that her previous 5 star reviews said. She cared for our home and our dog Ziggy very well as she was not that well during the time she was there. Would be very happy to have Lucy again when we travel.12

Fantastic house sitters. My two cocker spaniels were so comfortable with them. The alpacas and chickens were also well cared for. I received regular updates and photos of my dogs. The house was immaculate when we returned. Lucy left a very tasty vegetable curry in the fridge for us which was unexpected but a lovely touch. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Lucy house sat our apartment and our gorgeous 10 year old Australian Silky Angel for 5 weeks while we were in Europe. She kept us updated regularly on her progress along with photos which was very comforting given that this was the first time we have left Angel with anyone other than family or friends. On our return home Angel was in excellent health and not stressed at all. The apartment was as we left it and Lucy had made us a pot of delicious Thai pumpkin soup. We will definitely ask Lucy ...
