We are full time house sitters in the UK but before COVID we have done house sits in France, Belgium and Australia .
We have now been house and pet sitting continuously since 2017 and have loved every minute of it, visiting new places and looking after wonderful animals (this currently totals 180 dogs, 49 cats, numerous chickens and ducks, 3 sheep, 2 cows, an alpaca, a tortoise and several ponds with fish).
The majority of our house sits have been organised through Trusted House Sitters website and we have to date 94 five star reviews. The last 5 reviews are in our attachments which we can make available to you.
Being retirees, we will have no distractions from our priority of loving and caring for your pets and house.
Previously to house sitting, we had the pleasure of owning a 6 acre Malbec vineyard in Argentina for nine years. We did all the manual work ourselves, (except during harvest) with the aid of the 4 `street' dogs that we adopted!. Having to deal with the practicalities of building a new house and business in a foreign culture and in a foreign language made us into very resourceful people.
During our lives together we have renovated several houses and gardens, so have good practical skills in house maintenance, gardening and swimming pool maintenance. Also, having looked after lettings of properties in the past, we have high standards with regards to this maintenance.
