Hello,

My name is Mina, I am a caring, experienced and mature pet and house sitter.
I am available to look after your pets, homes, and gardens.
I have experience with living in different urban and rural areas in New Zealand and abroad.

I am a non-smoker, caring, reliable, clean, quiet, fit and independent person. I love taking care of animals and will also look after your house and garden with care and responsibility.

In the past ten years I have undertaken many pet and house sitting assignments in Christchurch and Auckland NZ, as well as abroad.
I have so far looked after cats and dogs of different sizes and kinds including puppies and kittens.
I also looked after hens, fish, very large houses and gardens; with quite a few assignments involving more than one pet in the same house.

Since Dec 2022 I have mostly undertaken pet/house sitting assignments for the same family that lives in a very large house in Orakei, Auckland,
These involved undertaking over twenty different pet/house sitting assignments for them, ranging from two weeks to over six weeks, and totalling to more than six months.
While the first assignment for them in Dec 2022-Jan 2023 was arranged via this platform (see an earlier review from Mr. Roger Dickie), the remaining assignments since were arranged directly.

I can provide contact details of referees from earlier house sitting and pet minding assignments.

Mina has been fabulous. She is very warm and she sets you at ease. She will keep you updated with information about your pets and the house. She's very reliable. The house has been well looked after and Mina has taken it upon herself to fix little things around the house that needed doing! This is very much appreciated

We highly recommend Mina as a house sitter and pet sitter.
As Molly and Ella are getting a little bit older they need slightly more attention with regards to their eating habits and general well being. Mina kept us well informed and we felt Molly and Ella were getting the love and attention they needed. After four weeks away we returned to a spotless house and two happy dogs. We look forward to Mina returning for another house and dog sit. M

Mina house sat for me for 4 weeks while I was overseas. This included taking care of my cat, Twinkle, who was well and happy when I got home.

Mina was reliable and self-sufficient and took care of the house.
I would not hesitate to have her again if that is possible.

Mina is a lovely house sitter who took care of our home and two cats for our school holiday break. She is clean and tidy, conscientious and caring for our pets welfare, Would recommend and use again. Thanks Mina.

Mina looked after our house and our small dog for six weeks and did a superb job. She left the house in immaculate condition, and it was clear that little Charlotte had quite fallen in love with her. It would be difficult to imagine anyone who could do a better job.

Mina We were lucky enough to get Mina at quite late notice. She is excellent. We have used a range of house sitters and pet care people for our dog and home over the last few years and Mina stands clear of the field as an outstanding, caring, reliable, organised, clean and tidy person.

This is not a usual review. Unfortunately, despite all our preparations with Mina, we have had to postpone our trip to the UK because of Covid-19. Mina had already come out to meet us, see the house and meet our cats and as newcomers to all this we were very impressed by Mina's thoughtfulness. When we can eventually plan to go we will contact Mina first, hoping that she is free.

No rating Mina came to my house at a moment's notice, so I could rush back home due to my father's sudden hospitalisation. She was very accommodating, and was able to stay longer than I thought due to my father's passing, which required a bit more time to settle his affairs.
