Kia ora,

We are a happy family of four who love travelling and want to discover more of the beautiful country we have chosen to be our home. I am from Germany originally and my wife is from China. We met in Auckland some 13 years ago and have two beautiful daughters (6 and 3) who are the first Kiwis in our family.

Our daughters love cats and are very caring and have been asking us to get pets for a while now. So far we have not fulfilled their wishes, mainly because we visit Germany and China a lot and often for several months at a time.

My wife had a cat for many years and we have also recently helped my brother to look after his cats. I have been loving to go for walks (and play) with a family friend's dog when I visited them for a few weeks.

I have also visited my auntie when I was younger who lived semi-rural and had a donkey, a horse, a dog and chickens.

We take pride in looking after our own house and will of course do the same wherever we travel.

Markus and Vivian were fantastic house sitters. Their communication leading up and during the house sit was great and they took good care of our animals and house while we were away for the week.
