Isabel & Jake

Hi all! We are super excited to be on this house sitting platform again! We’ve previously traveled New Zealand and loved it so much, we’ve decided to do it all over again this December.

We’ve used Kiwi House Sitters many times in the past and we’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences.

A little bit about us...Isabel works as a seasonal park ranger for the National Parks in the US. Jake worked as a seasonal wildland firefighter but made a career transition recently and now works fully remotely.

Jake and I both grew up surrounded by amazing pets and animals. We are familiar with both small and big dogs and cats. I partially grew up on a farm and know how to handle birds and goats. Jake is familiar with how to care for horses if that need arises for any of our house sits.

There are two of us and because of that we know we can give your furry friends all the love they deserve when you are away.

Taking good care of your pets and keeping your home clean will be our utmost priority.

We are both more than happy to provide references and any other information that you need from us. We are aware that having people you don't know take care of your pets and house is a big step but we are here to see the process go as smoothly as possible and make sure you are worry free when on your travels.

Communication is important to us both and we are happy to send photos of your pets and home as often as you need or even do video check ins.

Jake and I are both very active and love hiking and being outdoors during the day. However, since Jake works from home, we plan on spending lots of time with the animals we care for.

We very rarely have late nights out. Rather we enjoy quiet evenings watching the sun set or a good movie.
