While we are waiting for our new house to be built in Havelock North, we have decided to explore the South Island. We expect to be in the South Island until at least March 2023. We are open to house sitting anywhere.

We have done several stints of house sitting in Havelock North and in Taupo and most of those who we house sat for became our very good friends.

We have had so many inquiries from people wanting us to house-sit but we are now booked up until the end of February.

12/9/23
We hoped by this time we would have at least started building our house in Havelock North but unfortunately we are still waiting for the title of the land. We are continuing to house-sit and this year have done a number of house-sits in and around Wellington plus house-sitting for various friends in Havelock North. We have enjoyed exploring different areas in New Zealand. We have met many wonderful people and pets and have become fit through walking many pet dogs.

We now have house-sitting positions until the middle of February 2024 but would welcome any longer term positions after that date, especially in or near Havelock North.

We have house-sitting positions now until the middle of February 2024 We hope to start building in April and will not require house-sitting positions during that time.
Thank you to all the wonderful people who allowed us to house-sit for them since July 2022.

We loved having Carol and Bob look after our home and small dog! They were lovely to deal with and nothing was a problem for them. Our home was more spotless when we got back than when we left it! Thank you both so much!

This was our first experience using a House & Pet sitter and it could not have gone better. Carol & Bob were prompt, professional & friendly. The house and our dog were very well looked after with Bob even taking it on himself to look after a small maintenance issue that arose and did a damn fine job too :) . We would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.

Bob & Carol were excellent house & dog sitters and we can’t recommend them enough. From the moment we met them we felt extremely comfortable in their abilities and respectfulness if our property and dogs. In return to our house after a month away, the house was immaculate and there was a beautiful big flower display left for us. Many many thanks Carol & Bob!!!

I have no hesitation in recommending Carol and Bob for any house and pet sit. Unfortunately they had to leave before we came back as our return had been delayed, however it was patently obvious that the house, grounds and our beloved dog were very well and lovingly cared for. Carol was always so positive whenever we caught up by phone.
