Hi,
I'm a semi-retired school teacher living in my camper van in Taranaki. I leave my van in Taranaki and bring my car to any house sitting job.

I am an experienced house-sitter, through this website and through friends and word of mouth. In 2024 I have house sat in New Plymouth, Te Horo and Wellington. I have looked after cats, small dogs, budgies and bunnies, and a lot of house plants. I take the responsibility of looking after people's pets very seriously as I know they are loved family members.

I enjoy going on long walks and exploring new areas. I like doing the house work whilst listening to Radio NZ and generally pottering about with cooking, house plants etc. I am not able to have pets in my current situation and so house/pet sitting is the next best thing.

Interests include nature, photography, walking, craft work and food.

Carol made our time away stress free. Our dog Libby was well cared for and when we got back the house was spotless. Would highly recommend Carol and would be happy to have her come stay again.
