We are a Kiwi couple living on a canal boat in France. We are spending the summer back in NZ.

We arrived in NZ in mid December and plan to stay 2-3 months.

As we rent our home out in Raumati Beach, we are looking for house sitting opportunities in Auckland. I may be on own for some or all of the sit as Dave may remain in Wellington a bit longer than me.

We are both non-smokers and have our own car.

We both love cats (and very much miss having feline company).

We are both fit and healthy and I am a keen gardener so we’re happy to mow lawns, do gardening, look after indoor plants, etc.

We have not used Kiwi House Sitters before so do not have any references linked to our profile. However, we can send you references from other cat and house sits we have done in the past.

Barbara was wonderful. She took the time to visit and meet our cat, Billie, before the sit, which was really helpful. While we were away, she looked after our home and watered the garden. Barbara bonded with Billie and when we returned Billie was calm and happy. Barbara maintained great communication throughout, sending regular updates and pictures. We’d be pleased to have her back for another sit in the future.
