Kia ora,

We are a french couple, embarking on an exciting adventure in NZ!

After our first HelpX experience in Christchurch, where we cared for 4 dogs, 1 cat, sheep, chickens, and handled gardening and cleaning, we spent a month as apricot pickers in Otago. Now on the North Island, we’re looking to pet-sit through the winter. We’ve already completed 3 pet-sits in Wellington: caring for a kitten, a 7-year-old Labrador and a 1-year-old Springer Spaniel, and a 17-year-old Burmese cat. Currently in Auckland, we’ve looked after a cute cavoodle and are now cat-sitting for a lovely kitten in Point Chevalier.

Chloe and Greg were absolutely fantastic! We honestly could not have asked for anything more. We came home to a nice clean and tidy house, the lawns were mowed, and we had one VERY happy little dog who preferred to sit on Chloe's knee, rather than mine! (They even cooked dinner for us the night we came home which was beautiful!) They sent us photos and videos every couple of days so we could see how happy our little Rosie was and they took her out to dog parks and beaches, as well as ... MORE

Chloe and Greg were fantastic sitters. We have an elderly, rather nervous cat and we returned to a relaxed, happy old girl. They worked cat magic! And our place was spotless when we returned. We throughly enjoyed meeting Chloe and Greg, They are excellent communicators and caring people.. Wish we could have them back!
