Originally from the UK and Australia, we have lived in NZ for nearly 20 years. We have spent most of 2024 house sitting and travelling in the UK and Australia. We have enjoyed this so much that we thought we'd try to do a bit at weekends/holidays back in NZ.
We have owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs and chooks in the past. Our last dog had multiple health issues so we're confident with harnesses, giving meds and separation anxiety. I have also volunteered in an animal shelter for many years.
Neither of us smoke/vape, and we have access to a car. We enjoy gardening so are happy to care for your plants and veggie plots. If there's anything else you need to know, please just ask. Clare & Jules

If you are lucky enough to have Clare and Julian as Housesitters, well done! They looked after Mia my cat and my house wonderfully. Kept me informed on how Mia was and sent me photo updates. Such lovely people and I would have them again :)

Claire and Julian have been a pleasure to deal with. Communication before the sit was great, they arrived on time. We only met them for an hour or so before we left but both are pleasant and friendly. They kept in touch during our holiday and what a lovely surprise on our return to find a clean and tidy house, their bedding washed and a bunch of flowers on the dining room table. Clare and Julian were great house sitters. They arrived promptly and took to Jemima, and she to them, straight away. We were kept informed of her ‘antics’ during our break and we returned to find the house as we’d left it. We’d be happy to welcome them to our home again.
