We are both adventurous people who love to experience life through our passion for travel. Neither of us smoke, our honesty and practical skills, will ensure an easy transition for you to have peace of mind and enjoy your time away. We have both had dogs, birds and cats and understand the importance of personalized love and care for them. Terry has extensive experience with fresh water and marine aquarium systems and is very practical in carpentry, building and maintenance. We both love to garden and are more than happy to maintain and plant as required. Our friends would describe us as personable, reliable, hard working and extremely house proud. Absolutely Remarkable!!!! Terry and Wendy house sat our homestead/ hobby farm/ lifestyle block for us for 6 weeks. We can’t thank them enough. They formed a strong bond with our German Shepherd Frankie and looked after her so well. Little things like re potting my hydrangeas, relish and passata sauce ready and waiting for us, cleaning our toddlers permanent marker artworks off our walls, fixing our chicken coop and fencing and leaving our home spotless, organised and beautiful really made us ... Terry was just Fabulous with the girls. Felt right at ease from the moment we met him and the girls took to him like they’d known him for ages. This is the first time we have used a house sitter and pleased to have used Terry & Wendy and to have had them look after our pets. On our return our dogs were very happy due to being well cared for and our house was left neat, clean and tidy. Being a small community we live in, Terry & Wendy fitted in well and we’re liked by all. Would welcome them back without hesitation.
Arrived home to exceptionally happy & healthy menagerie i.e. dog, cat and chickens - a couple of the latter had gone broody and also had secret nests - all solved by Terry!.
Garden flourishing (despite the heat and no rain ) and such thoughtful touches as herbs & lettuces planted (ready for picking) and toys and treats left for the animals.
Without doubt a completely no stress time away thanks to these two.

Wendy & Terry were absolutely lovely housesitters. Very friendly with great communication and we can tell they looked after our cat very well. They left our house spotless (maybe even cleaner than we left it!) and even left a treat for us and some toys for the cat. We highly recommend Wendy & Terry to look after your home and pets.

They were absolutely amazing !! , Douglas was loved and cared for , Terry sent us lots of updates and photos which was lovely as she was a wee rescue cat with a few quirks but they got on famously. Terry and Wendy were wonderful communicators always responding to any questions quickly. Terry took incredible car of our home and us ...when we arrived home later than expected he popped out to ... She is also getting on the older grumpier side and Terry was very patient with her letting her come to him in her own time.

We cannot thank Wendy and Terry anough. During the house sit my husband unfortunately had an accident and required emergency surgery which delayed us being able to come home. Terry and Wendy were the most amazing house/dog sitters we could have wished for. Our two dogs were treated like they were their own, regularly walked and we received regular updates and photos. The house was immaculate on our return and they had even made us a delicious pot of soup, which was greatly appreciated after travelling for 24+ hours. This required continuous vet visits and ongoing treatment at home, pretty much the whole time I was away. Luckily I had Wendy and Terry as my house sitters, and with their diligent care and kindness, and the fabulous vets round the ... I returned home to a super tidy house and sparkling clean windows (thank you so much!). All animals (two cats and two dogs) happy and well cared for, my Jack Russell rather sad to see them go I think...
I feel very lucky to have had Wendy and Terry as my first Kiwi house sitters, I really could not have asked for kinder and more thoughtful people. If I thought I could persuade them to return to house sit again I would, hopefully without any animal dramas this time.

Even better, when we arrived home the house had been completely spring cleaned top to bottom, the pets didn't even look twice at us as they had been so well cared for and ...
