I am planning to come back to Auckland for Christmas 2024 from early December to February 2025.
Dates are still flexible. I am fully vaccinated and do not smoke. I will care for your house and pets like they are my own. I have my own house in Sydney which I frequently share so i understand what iit is like having someone else looking after your home. I have house sat in Auckland previously, and also puppy and dog sat for friends in Sydney. Have lived with and owned cats since childhood - several rescue cats both here and Auckland - also budgies, parrots and fish. I would love to be somewhere near a beach as I walk daily. I can provide references if required, and happy to call you to discuss the sit. Ideally I would like to sit in Eastern suburbs, St Heliers or nearby beaches or suburns withim 10-15km of the CBD..

One of my cats , Tui was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney disease. I was quite stressed about going away, in case he deteriorated. He also needs encouragement to eat, so I hand feed him a lot. He is also a very shy and nervous boy who hates strangers. If my holiday hadn't already been booked, I wouldn't have gone. However, Sheryl looked after both my cats as if they were her own. She recorded how much Tui ate each day, hand feeding him, so that he flourished in her care. Jinkx became sick ... MORE

Sheryl really went above and beyond to look after our doggo and home. She left the house beautifully clean and tidy, more than would be expected, and was very caring and attentive to our dog. She communicated well and was very lovely to deal with. She even left us a beautiful Christmas plant. Would definitely ask her back :)

Sheryl was a great sitter for Lily our 6 yr old Burmese. Lily was happy, relaxed and enjoyed staying at home with Sheryl, rather than having to go to a cattery. Sheryl took good care of our home and communicated really quickly. We felt very confident having Sheryl in the house over Christmas.
