Hey there!

We're Glen and Kat, a tidy, respectful and considerate non-smoking couple previously based in Wellington. We both enjoy hiking, meditation, reading, exploring new places, beach days, and of course — we love animals!

Kat grew up with German Shepherds, a Rottweiler, Shih Tzus, several cats and even a stray turtle which she rescued while living in the Philippines!

Glen has had several cats over the years, and loves spending time with dogs at any opportunity. He’s recently been volunteering to walk an adorable young Golden Retriever named Harry in his spare time via The Dog Share Collective.

We’re happy to follow any specific routines or instructions to ensure your pets are happy and comfortable. Rest assured we’ll keep you posted with plenty of photos and videos to keep your mind at ease. Due to our ability to work entirely remotely, it’s very easy for us to dedicate loads of time, attention and care to your pets and home.

On a personal note, we are considering a move up to Auckland in the near future. We hope house sitting will give us the opportunity to experience a range of unique Auckland neighbourhoods, while making some new furry friends along the way!

We understand that trusting anyone with your precious pets and home is a big decision and would love to jump on a phone or Zoom call to see if we click and go from there 🙂

Glen and Kat house sat for 3 weeks during July school holidays 2023. Despite the sit being arranged at short notice they made sure to arrive to Auckland in good time for us to be able to meet in person. We felt very comfortable leaving our home in their hands. Additional to caring for our home we have 3 cats and dog to look after! Glenn and Kat are incredible pet and home sitters. They cared for our elderly Labrador and Burmese while we were away for two months, and were happy to stay an extra month, a total of three months. They are respectful and deeply caring. They work remotely so are wonderful company for pets. We got beautiful pictures regularly. It was obvious they were happy and cared for. Glen and Kat did a fantastic job looking after our reactive rescue dog Ludo, who can be hard work. They took good care of the house and the plants, and kept us updated with photos and messages of how things were going back home. I’d absolutely recommend them, and wouldn’t hesitate to have them house sit for us again in the future.

Glen and Kat were fantastic house and dog sitters. They were easy to communicate with and sent us lots of photos of our very happy looking dog. The house was well looked after and very clean when we returned. Our dog was very well taken care of, she was very settled and content when we got home. I would highly recommend Glen and Kat. They did an awesome job and made the whole process stress free. Would happily use them again.
