David & Kim

We are a married couple in our early 60's.

Until recently, we lived and worked at Orama on Great Barrier Island. Orama is a Christian community / retreat and accommodation provider. I was involved in the Management team and also helped out with maintaining infrastructure. As Orama is off-grid that involved maintaining the power supply, water and sewerage. As well as maintaining machinery, buildings and 1001 other things. Kim helped with the gardens, kitchen and reception (she has previously been a nurse). Kim is a people person and enjoys getting to know and relating to a wide range of people.

We are very tidy, responsible, practical and hard-working people who care for other people's homes and pets as if they were our own.
