Hi, I'm Ella!

I’m coming to the end of my lease and am looking for housesitting opportunities during January and February 2024 before I move town.

I’m 27 and currently work as a research assistant at Victoria University. I spend 2 days per week studying birds at Zealandia Ecosanctuary, but the rest of my work can be done from home if your pet likes company during the day. I'm a real homebody so I will be around in the weekends and evenings too.

I have experience with a range of different pets including dogs, cats, rats, rabbits and birds. I have also done lots of volunteering and fostering for the SPCA. In addition, I have a PhD in animal behaviour so I’m comfortable handling any personality quirks your pets might have!

In my spare time I enjoy getting outdoors so I'd love to have a dog to keep me company on walks. I’m a clean, quiet, and respectful guest and will take excellent care of your home.
