My husband Carl & I retired October 2022 from long professional careers and are excited to start the next chapter. We have 2 adult children, 2 grandchildren 13 & 18 and they have a fur baby, Louie who loves us to take him on long walks. As a family we have always loved our pets but after losing our dog and cat a few years ago we felt we couldn't replace them. Our daughter suggested we consider housesitting and thought what a great idea, hence our journey started. We are considered to be kind, caring people. Both your home would be cared for and respected like our own and can assure you, your pets will be lovingly looked after so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your holiday. We have done multiple sits now and have been asked back a number of times. The hard part is saying goodbye to the wonderful pets!

Carl and Barb were outstanding sitters our beagle was very spoilt and well looked after. We felt very comfortable leaving her in their hands and the updates while we were away were so nice to receive. The beach house was left immaculate as well.

Wow, we have just arrived home from a 5 week trip.
We cannot thank Barb and Carl enough for the awesome care they gave to our dog, cat , house and garden.
They went above and beyond due to our poor pup sustaining an injury on day 1 and required surgery.
He has been restored to full health thanks to their kindness, compassion, consideration and cuddles!!
They maintained contact with us throughout with calls, photos and videos

Barb and Carl are the most wonderful house and pet sitters. They looked after our house and our cavoodle Teddy for 3 months while we were traveling . They adored Teddy and I knew he was in great hands. We received photos, videos and updates regularly and it was so reassuring seeing our very happy dog. Carl & Barb housesat for us for 2 weeks in 6/2024. From the moment we spoke to them on the phone we just knew they were the right people and we weren’t wrong.
We have a Cavoodle who we referred to as being very needy in the way of human contact, cuddles and walks.
Our dog sleeps on our bed and Barb & Carl were happy for us to continue while we were away, we know this continued bc we got photos of him taking most of the bed! Great Coms from them too.

Fist time leaving at girls an we were very apprehensive. From the moment Barb and Carl arrived we felt at ease. They were so gentle and loving to our girls .
Care taken of our house was top notch. We came home to laundry done and a sparkling house.
I cant speak highly enough of these beautiful people. We now consider friends. So a huge thankyou.
WOW - from the minute they arrived, it felt like Barbara and Carl were part of our family. Our dogs immediately took to them, and everyone was so relaxed! We received regular photos and updates while we were away, and when my husband needed to pop back home for a few days for urgent business, they made dinner for him each night!
We returned to a house that was tidier than we left it, they had washed all linen and remade the bed, and we had two very sad dogs that were now missing their two ... MORE
We can’t thank Barb and Carl enough for looking after our fur babies and our house. From the moment we met them we were at ease about leaving and knew everything would be left in good hands. Our dog was quite nervous being left and they were very patient with him. We really appreciate this. He now loves them!
The house was spotless and the gardens/lawns were maintained while we were gone. They definitely go above and beyond.

Barbara and Carl would probably be the best sitters we have ever had! Amazing is an understatement. Felt very comfortable upon meeting them and had no hesitation leaving our house and pets in their care. We had heaps of photos, videos, and updates while we were away and came home to two very happy cats - one who literally sulked when she realised her best buddy Carl had left.

We felt very lucky to have Barbara and Carl house sit for us they sent messages, photos and short videos of our pets. Upon arriving home there was a pot of soup waiting and the h0use and gardens were well cared for. We would most definitely get them to house sit again and highly recommend.

Thanks so much to Barb & Carl for being the most amazing Doggie and House Sitters. We couldn't have wished for better. We left for Europe totally comfortable knowing that we had left our babies in the best of hands. Our dogs were spoilt rotten and given so much love and care that when we returned from 3.5 weeks away, the dogs were happy and calm and they sulked when Barb and Carl left and waited at the front door for them to return!!!

Barbara & Carl are amazing house sitters! Our two cats were so happy and well cared for. One is still sulking slightly because we’re home! Barbara & Carl took care of our home and it was immaculate on our return. They kept us updated whilst we were away and communication has been great. We can recommend them 100% and I hope they will come back to us in the future!
Barbara and Carl were fantastic housesitters. They kept in touch leading up to the sit and during. Our old dog was obviously very well looked after and they embraced his little idiosyncrasies. The house was immaculate when we got home and vegie garden produce that was surplus was frozen for us. The large lawn area was mown which Bruce was chuffed about. They are both lovely amiable people whom we would recommend to anyone wanting a housesit.
Barbara and Carl were great to deal with, very capable with our big dog, and we could tell the exercised and played with him while we were away as he didn't seem to miss us! Our house was looked after beautifully and was tidy on return. They sent pictures to us of our fur babies which was a lovely added extra. Highly recommend and would definitely use again!
We were fortunate to have Barbara and Carl housesit our Cambridge lifestyle property for ten days over the Christmas Period of 2022-2023.
Their care and attention of our home and animals was fabulous. We returned home to very happy, healthy pets and our home sparkled. We were delighted.
