For many years we welcomed house sitters into our own home to care for our pets and at times our holiday home rental. Sadly our pets have now left us - so some years ago we began house sitting ourselves and now that we are both retired we have great flexibility.
Firstly, we understand the importance of being able to go on holiday knowing that either your pets and/or your home are being cared for properly. Secondly, while we have decided to take a break from pet ownership ourselves we do miss them and their companionship and house sitting is a way that we can still have regular contact with animals.
We can assure you that we will take good care of your home and/or your pets and follow any instructions you leave very carefully and our references clearly reflect this.
Alison volunteered for years at the local SPCA so has worked with a variety of pet temperaments and conditions. Tony is a hands on property manager so is very capable of dealing with any problems that may occur.
We are looking forward to exploring some new places but we would not be going out all day every day - our first priority would be the care of your pets/home.
Tony and Alison were great house sitters. They kept in contact prior to the sit and were flexible with dates and times when I needed to leave a day earlier than planned. They updated me via email whilst I was away which I really appreciated as this was only the 2nd time that I had left Hugo to go away! The house was clean and tidy on my arrival home and Hugo had obviously been well looked after. Would definitely recommend/book for a future house sit. Thank you both.
Alison and Tony were absolutely amazing. They were excellent with Ellie and Smokey, I knew they were in wonderful hands the whole time with regular updates.

Alison and Tony took wonderful care of our precious pup. Their communication was great, letting us know how his day was and what adventures had taken place. This was my first time to use Kiwi Housesitters so was obviously a little apprehensive about leaving my two dogs with strangers. Alison and Tony were great housesitters. They communicated well, and briefly kept in touch while we were away. Lucy was very happy and the house was lovely and clean and tidy when we returned.

Alison and Tony were AMAZING. From the first initial meeting with them we felt at ease knowing that our dog Rosie and our home would be very well looked after and that they were. Alison and Tony sent photos and emails frequently keeping us in the loop on how Rosie was doing. We got home to a very happy and well looked after dog and clean and tidy home. We were lucky enough to have Alison & Tony to look after our much loved cats and, of course, our house. t The communication was great right from the start and we also got updates on our cats everyday, which was most appreciated. Alison & Tony were absolutely fantastic. Greyhounds are pretty low maintenance, but ours can get a little stressed when we pop away for a visit, thankfully she was in great hands and we came home to a lovely, relaxed dog and a happy cat! Fully recommend them both to look after your property and pets.

Tony and Alison were wonderful house/dog sitters. We left feeling very relaxed leaving Honey, our dog; she loved them at first sight. It was a pleasure to come home to a spotless house too. Thank you so much for an enjoyable holiday from Bryan, Rachel & Honey and the odd fish :)
We were so lucky to find the perfect people to care for our two cats and home. We thought Caesar was ready to leave home and follow Tony. We had complete confidence in both Alison and Tony and this was fully justified; our cats were content and the house tidy and washing done. We would love for them to sit for us again.
