We are Greta and Alberto, seasoned sitters and huge animal lovers. We´ve been sitting for the last 5 years in different places around New Zealand and the world. We feel very lucky to be able to share our time and passion with you and your fur balls, while travelling and discovering New Zealand.
We absolutely love dogs and cats, and we've always had pets in our family. We treat animals with the same love and care we would treat a person; they're such wonderful, loving and sensitive beings. :)
We are a mature, responsible couple. Back home in Spain we are property and pet owners ourselves, so we understand what looking after a house, garden and most importantly, after a life( or several ) means.
We will treat your house and pets as if they were our own, and by that I mean, with love, care and respect.
There will be cuddling, playing, grooming, walking and company for your furry family members, and cleaning and tidying for your house, so that on your comeback you find your home the way you left it.
We're keen on sitting doggies and kitties alike, they're such beautiful animals, and we connect easily with them and end up being best friends.
We're adaptable, easy-going and are confident with both big and small animals. We have experience looking after house cats and outdoors cats, rescue animals, small and large breeds, energetic animals, puppies and senior animals. However, we prefer pets that are sociable and well trained.
We will not accept pets that have behavioural problems or have displayed signs of aggression towards other animals or people.
We're familiar with several diets including the raw diet, and we will stick to the guidelines listed by you.
We can administer pills, eye and ear drops or skin treatments to both dogs and cats.
Please let us know if your pet has any special dietary requirements, medical conditions beforehand.

We could not have wished for better house sitters than Greta and Alberto. From the moment they came to visit and meet the dogs we knew we had found the right people. They were both so natural with the animals and our normally reticent and shy Halo took to them immediately. Greta and Alberto were the absolute ideal of house sitters. They took amazing care of our wee cat and stayed in touch throughout with pictures and updates which I really appreciated. They also took great care of our house and went above and beyond any and all expectations by leaving it immaculate for us to come home to.

We couldn’t have asked for more from Greta and Alberto. Communication was easy from their first message, through them visiting us and the cats before we agreed the sit and throughout our time away. We came home to happy cats and a beautifully clean and tidy home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or to ask them back next time we go away.
Greta and Alberto looked after our Dachshund boy for four days. They were very accommodating and offered to come very early in the morning at the beginning of their stay. We received regular photos of our boy during the course of their stay which was so nice and it gave us comfort that he was in such good hands. We returned to a very happy boy, a very clean house and even the washing was done! A very thoughtful, respectful and trustworthy couple. Highly recommended without hesitation.
Greta and Alberto were absolutely wonderful. They left the house absolutely perfectly clean and were obviously very respectful of the space. Their communication about their amazing adventures with our dog was very regular and made us feel so confident that she was being cared for well. They took our dog on some wonderful walks and by the photos it was obvious she was having a brilliant time with them. Highly highly recommend these guys!
Just the most wonderful dog and house sitters. I can’t praise Greta and Alberto highly enough.-10 out of 10! They’re such lovely, kind and considerate people. Greta and Alberto are amazing house sitters and very friendly people. They looked after my cat and plants for 2 weeks, my cat seemed very healthy and happy on my return. They left the house extremely clean, probably cleaner than it was when they arrived. I recommend them to look after your animal friends and your home!
Amazing trustworthy people. Greta & Alberto looked after our home and precious pup so well. They took such good care of Hercules with walks across Wellington and we received lots of updates on his wellbeing & fun times. I hope

These two are perfectionists! They stayed in touch regularly, they left the house spotless, and managed to get our very shy cat to connect to them. These are very competent, responsible adults, and anyone would be fortunate to have them housesit.
Greta and Alberto were dream house sitters, I could not recommend them more highly, Not only did they look after my house well, they were amazing carers to my dog, Ruby and sent me daily updates of her antics. The brief was clear: pet care was the priority, not the house sit. We explained the strict feeding, exercise and toilet schedules, together with overall care and attention requirements for our pet. They agreed to it all but defaulted on everything from Day 1. They left our pet locked in the house for about 80% of the time despite confirming that one of them worked from home so our pet would always have someone present. What an amazing experience having Greta and Alberto taking care of our house/girls/birds. They did an excellent job and communication was great, girls loved them an even asked them to sit again for a trip that we're planning but unfortunately they were already booked with someone else. We loved having Greta and Alberto sit our house and pets. The dogs loved them. They were very happy when we returned. Greta gave us lots of updates and it was clear that dogs were having a good time. We came home to an extremely clean and tidy house. I would love for them to sit for us again.
Greta and Alberto were amazing! Great communication and they were wonderful in looking after our home, the garden and the cats. Photos and regular updates were provided on how the cats were doing which was lovely, 100% recommend and would have them housesitting agin for sure!

Greta and Alberto were a great couple to have looking after our house and cat. Kira is very shy young cat and we had some concerns about how she would react to strangers in the house. It took about two days for Greta and Alberto to turn her around and there was a bonus in that they got her to use the cat door, something we hadn’t managed. I think she hardly missed us at all. Greta and Alberto were great! Communication was simple and easy. They took care of our big girl Lucy and Scooter. Lucy has been sulking since they left! House was spotless when we returned. I think the animals were hoping they were here to stay!
Greta and Alberto were absolutely outstanding! They had an unexpected medical issue to handle for our large dog and took on all the daily medical routines, hot spot management (not easy) and vet visits beautifully. Our animals adored them and it's clear they are very much animal people who love being out and about with dogs. Greta and Alberto were really reliable and thoughtful sitters. They took great care of James, took him on daily walks to the lake and were very respectful of the house. We'd definitely recommend them and would ask them to sit again.
Greta and Alberto house sat for our two little kitties for almost 3 weeks. We came back to a lovely clean house (probably cleaner than we left it :-)) and two very happy and healthy cats. They sent us regular messages with photos of the cats which was lovely and reassuring. We'd happily use them again and recommend them.
