We are Cat and George, we were both brought up in families full of pets, so along our journey we are excited to give yours the care and attention they deserve whilst you are away.

Our experience:
Cat - My family and I have had Charlie since 2018, our beautiful rescue dog originally from Ireland. He is a medium sized dog, a collie and setter cross. Found as a stray, Charlie sometimes has issues with other dogs so I have learnt how to be attentive to his emotions and signals. With Charlie being sometimes reactive, I am fully aware that not every dog will be easy. Each dog has its own challenges and personal needs. Not every dog will be suited to every situation and I pride myself on being very able to read dogs' signals and be empathetic to their needs.
I have owned rabbits since I was a child. I had Snuggles (!!), Bluebell and Albert. Apart from dogs, they are my favourite animals and I love looking after them.
I also have looked after hens, ducks and guinea fowl in the past and would be excited to petsit for any similar birds.
George - My family and I have owned cats since I was a child. We currently have a stubborn old man called Peregrin 'Pip' Took, and a chubby loud girl called called Pi.
Pi has struggled with allergies her whole life (even her own fur), so I am used to giving her medicines (topical, via food, pills), and regularly getting her check ups at the vet.
I have also owned tropical fish, and am familiar with all the care and attention needed there.
I'm a keen gardener, and have grown just about every type of house plant and veg.
I have travelled a lot, often staying in Airbnbs, and have always kept the places clean and tidy, and treated them with respect.
This was the first time that we had used Kiwi House Sitters, and it was a wonderful experience. I felt completely reassured knowing that our furbaby Penny was well cared for when we were away. George and Cat kept us updated and their communication was excellent. When we arrived back, the house was lovely and clean, and all the plants were well cared for. Thanks George and Cat!
George & Catherine were amazing housesitters, who cared for our animals and home beautifully. We came home to a very happy Labradoodle, Ted who had obviously enjoyed his time with them. We would happily have them back again any time and would highly recommend them to others looking for sitters. Thanks again!

George and Cat looked after our cat Maisie very well, and she was very contented when we returned home. I was able to meet George and Cat before we left the house and there was excellent communication while we were away. The garden was well watered, the indoor plants were thriving and the house was as tidy as when we left it. We would definitely have them return should they want to be in this area again.
