Young but mature couple, mid 20’s, non-smokers, non-drinkers.

James is from Nelson. Kiah is originally from China. After spending some time over in Australia and other countries, now we’re back to New Zealand.

We both have had cats and dogs before and know what it takes to properly care for a pet. We’re more than happy to send weekly reports with photos of your pets and or home.

Kiah and James were fantastic to work with. They communicated with us regularly before we left and while we were away. The peace of mind we had for our pets and home was wonderful. They left the house very tidy and we know our dog Dodger got lots of attention and fun with them. Franklin, our cat, even decided to show up and was fine with them being here. 100% would recommend and book with them again.

Kiah and James kindly agreed to look after my home, two cats and border collie. They were great with communication, friendly and willing to understand the different personalities of my animals. James and Kiah took great care of our house and pets, Floki (Labrador) and Issy (Jack Russel), while we were abroad. There is nothing better than having peace of mind when you are away, They made sure to keep in touch with how our dogs were getting on and included pictures of our happy fury children. I would gladly recommend them for house/pet sits and will have no problem asking them to sit for us in the future. Thank you again for being able to do this for us.

James and Kiah looked after our active young dog and were very attentive to his needs. They also did a great job of looking after our home, plants and vege patch. The house was clean and tidy to return home to. Their communication was also great and we received regular updates of our dog. I would highly recommend them and definitely have them back again in the future. James and Kiah are a lovely young and capable couple.

Apart from caring for the house brilliantly, they went above and beyond in caring for our precious dog who became terminally unwell while we were away. Looked after my cat extremely well. Unfortunately a few issues cropped up with TV and my computer. I think they are on a learning curve and will get the hang of housesitting. The house was left in excellent condition and they kept in touch. In future I will leave clearer instructions on my tv and ban the use of my computer.

We used the TV and computer only once and operated them in a standard manner, just as any typical user would. Consequently, we cannot be held responsible for any issues that arose after we concluded our sit.
James and Kiah were the most wonderful house/cat sitters we could have asked for. They are both friendly and reliable people, and fantastic at communicating and keeping us updated. It was our first time leaving our cats with a sitter and they tend to be on the anxious side. We weren’t sure how they would find it, but they instantly warmed to James and Kiah.
