We're a family of four (Dad, Mum, teenage son age 16 & our Collie cross, age 9), non smoking and non drinking. We've jumped off the hamster wheel of our 'usual' life and are travelling our awesome country in our self contained caravan.

So far we've been camping and property & pet/stock sitting at a handful of locations in the North and South Islands for over the last year now.

We've owned and looked after sheep, goats, alpacas, horses (large horses and smaller ponies) cows, dogs, cats, ducks and chickens. We've signed up to do DOC volunteering & camp hosting but haven't taken up any of these opportunities yet (Police checks and references verified by DOC to date though).

I've been picking up casual & seasonal driving work as my background is in trucking, my son & I both have our general and outdoor First Aid certifications, my wife works remotely from our ‘home’ doing admin work and our son is studying remotely & holds a Level 3 NZ Certificate in Companion & Lifestyle Animal Care, he's also been doing some volunteer work with the SPCA.
