Hello, we are Theresa and Derrick. We moved from the States and have been living in Dunedin, now we are looking forward to seeing the rest of New Zealand. As former home owners ourselves we are conscientious and tidy. We miss having dogs and cats in our lives and hope to combine travel with caring for animals. We know how stressful it can be to leave your animals behind when traveling, we hope to ease this stress by our presence. We ask that any home/pet owners that contact us have a back-up plan and provide a list of contacts in case the need should arise. Thank you!!!
Derick and Theresa made the effort to meet before the sit. I felt very comfortable leaving Louis in their care. On return the house was clean and tidy and Louis very happy. They are a l9vely couple and excellent sitters.
Derrick and Theresa are fantastic they took amazing care of our pets even working on tricks with our dog. The house was spotless when we returned home. They are great communicators and did a wonderful job. I could not recommend them more highly.
Derrick and Theresa were fabulous house sitters. Communication was easy and they sent pictures of my animals looking happy and on the beach. The animals had obviously been beautifully cared for and the dog had been washed! The house was left immaculate and even some baking and a vase of flowers. They were very flexible and helpful when my daughter needed to pop back to the house. I would have them back any day. Thank you :)
Derrick and Theresa were perfect sitters. Easy to deal with and they left my home clean and tidy. Even washed and dried all their linen.

Derrick and Theresa looked after my two golden retrievers while we went overseas. They did a wonderful job we came home to two happy well cared for boys and a lovely clean house. Communication was excellent and the kept us updated every few days. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Derrick & Theresa communicated well leading up to and during their sit. On our return our dog and two cats were happy to see us but assured us they had been well taken care of. The house was as I had left it and I would highly recommend Derrick & Theresa and happy to have them sit for us again.
Very responsible, with friendly communications throughout our 10 week absence wand welcome photos of our cat. The house was very well kept in our absence and we appreciated very much the welcome home dinner. They also thoughtfully ran our cars several times for battery and tyre care. We would be very happy to engage them again.
We are so grateful to Derrick & Theresa for taking good care of our dogs when we were away.
Communication was always great with them and continued while we were away, which we appreciated as had never been away from our dogs for so long.
They took the time to come over before we went away to meet our dogs to ensure the dogs would feel comfortable with them.
We felt at peace knowing our dogs and home were being well looked after.

Derrick and Theresa were an absolute delight! From the initial contact through the day they left, they were friendly, communicative, and respectful. They came by a week or so before the sit to learn about the house and also to introduce themselves. During the sit they shared photos and took care of everything as if it was their own house. My cat absolutely loved them and I know received such great care!
I would absolutely have Derrick and Theresa housesit again and recommend them to everyone!
Needed a sitter at short notice due to a family emergency and there was some disorganisation that they handled very graciously. Sent photos of walks around town so pup clearly got out and about and had some exercise. Came back to a tidy house and a happy dog.
Derrick and Theresa were perfect caregivers for Banjo. They are calm, confident and gentle long time dog owners whom Banjo immediately took to. It was really good to have Theresa and Derrick look after our dog Joey for a weekend. They are clear doggy lovers from get go. When we came back Joey was very happy and relaxed, which is a sure sign she also gives them a 5 star rating. We appreciate the fact that our apartment was left neat and clean. We highly recommend them!

Derrick and Theresa were great sitters. Happily came to meet Willow beforehand and their love of dogs was very evident. House was kept tidy and well looked after. Good communication.

They had Gary dog under their spell in minutes and Wednesday cat, in and around their legs before I even left!
