We are a professional couple who've decided to take a break from corporate life. We own property in Tauranga but have decided to spend more time travelling and we’re currently contracting in Hawkes Bay and Bay of Plenty. We enjoy the active camping lifestyle in our huge 9m caravan and relish the opportunity to take long walks or cycle trips. As property owners ourselves, we understand the worry of finding the right person to trust your property with. We are pet lovers but find it too restrictive to travel with them, so looking after your bundles of joy for a little while, is a privilege. We have experience in managing small accommodation establishments. We also take on the occasional project to support small business owners. As such we house/business sat a luxury cat resort (with up to 70 cats) while the owners went on a long-overdue holiday. We don't mind mowing your lawns or looking after pools, plants or ponds and we take well to instructions. We’ve been receiving many invites to look after properties over Christmas/NY. As we need to meet with our tenants and do some work at our property, we’re unfortunately only available for house sits in Tauranga over the festive season. Feel free to get in touch if we can support while you’re away for the festive season.

Franz and Lizzie cared for our two dogs, Ludo and Lila for 10 days over Christmas. Lizzie was easy to communicate with and sent regular updates with photos and videos of the dogs looking happy and loved. They both won over Lila, an anxious little dog who doesn’t always warm up quickly to new people—a testament to their kindness and patience. Lizzie and Franz are absolutely fantastic A++++ House sitters. From the start their communication was excellent They come around to visit and understand our requirements before committing to our sit which was so reassuring. Lizzie and Franz were fantastic in taking such lovely care of our fur-babies. The girls were settled and happy on our return. They house was clean and tidy and Lizzie had even done the washing of linen to assist us after being away. They even came back later in the evening on the last day to feed our doggies and turn on lights as our flight was delayed. They went above and beyond and I cant thank them enough. Exceptional.

It is impossible to overstate how wonderful Lizzie and Franz were as house sitters while we were away for over three and a half months. From regular messages and photos to keep us up to date with things at home, particularly with my two horses, to dealing with some difficult issues when one of them had a nasty injury, Lizzie and Franz were fantastic. What a wonderful couple Lizzie and Franz are. They went beyond what I expected by sending me most days photos or videos on my 2 cats. Amazing Housesitters! Franz and Lizzie did an absolutely fabulous job of caretaking our lifestyle property and business whilst we went away for a long awaited 3 week holiday. The house was immaculate when we returned, and seemed cleaner than when we left it! The gardens and surrounding property were well maintained and they even washed the car!
