I am a freelance writer in my 60s. My work often takes me to several parts of New Zealand for research and so I travel often.
House sitting is a way to learn first-hand about new areas and is an affordable way to stay in these places.
I am a personable, well-organised, neat and tidy person and would happily care for a place and/or animals as if they were my own.
I live on a lifestyle block and so am used to rural living. I love to garden. Anywhere would be considered except Auckland and north.

Wonderful care and love given to our dog 2 cats bunny and fish. Great communication and questions asked while away when needed. Offered to drop us off to and from airport. I offered to pay for this petrol. However I was upset on returning to my home. It was lovely and clean...utensils china pots all in correct place..but my house seemed turned upside down. I told her to move anything in her bedroom bathroom or on table where she worked....However most potplants were moved...all my opp ... MORE

It is most unfortunate that you found my moving a few items an issue. This involved clearing plants from the dining table so I could sit and write.
