Rachel

Hi my name is Rachel and I'm a full time gardener in the UK. My mum is a kiwi and grew up in nz, she met my dad when she was 20 and moved over here back in the 70's. I've been to nz a few times on holiday/travelling but now want to come over for a more extended period of time. I don't do as much gardening in December and January here in the UK and although I have worked the last few winters I have decided that this winter I'd like to spend somewhere a bit warmer.
My uncles and cousins are all over nz so hoping to travel around seeing them too but also have some house sits where there's some furry faces to look after. I have a cat and a rabbit here at home who I will miss very much.
I've done house sitting before looking after dogs and cats.
I'll happily spend time gardening, just let me know what you want doing and depending on how long the sit is I will do my best to fulfil. I'm quite a practical person and have a degree in landscape architecture. I know lots of plants, including native kiwi ones but would love to expand my knowledge.
My partner Jack might be coming to join me at some point in the trip if work allows but for the moment it will just be me.
