Hi all!
I'm Sarah, I'm 39. After having to move out of my second rental house in a year (due to the landlords wanting to sell), I decided to give house sitting a go to save some money to eventually buy a house of my own, so I don't have to go through the same dilemma again!
I have had a year full-time housesitting now, including caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, fish and an axolotl! I love animals, growing up we had a dog, cat, a sheep and fish. And in my adult life I have owned a cat as well. I enjoy getting out walking/hiking as well so I would love to take your dog along with me!
I'm currently working in Wellington CBD and I work two days from home. And I would love the company when I'm at home! I will give your precious animals special care and lots of attention.
I pride myself on being honest, trustworthy, reliable and friendly and would assure you that if you choose me to look after your treasured pets, plants and home that I would treat them as if they were my own. I would of course hand back your home as you left it.
I would love to meet you and your pets and hope that you will consider me when you next have to be away from home.
Sarah was great, she was really open and friendly with good communication. Sarah left the house perfectly clean and tidy, even going the extra mile to put clean sheets on the spare bed so there was nothing for us to do when we got home. Would 100% use Sarah again and happily recommend to others.
Fabulous to have Sarah care for Ginny and Murphy while we were overseas. The house, and more importantly our fur babies, were so well looked after. We would definitely recommend Sarah to others.
Sarah was a great sitter. The house was spotless and my dog very happy. She did extras like taking her to the vet for her monthly injection which I really appreciated. Communication was good - enough to make me confident that things were going well. I hope she can come again.
Sarah was able to come out us and meet us and Bonnie before the sit. She was reliable and communicated well. Bonnie was well looked after and got plenty of walks. We got a few updates and photos which was reassuring. Sarah left the house clean and was considerate to wash the sheets.
Sarah was amazing! Took really good care of our two cats, an axolotl, various house plants and the house itself!
Really great communication throughout the process, was so lovely to be able to relax and enjoy our time away without having to worry about the place.
Would highly recommend Sarah - we'd happily have her stay again!
Sarah was an amazing house and pet sitter. She is super friendly and communicative. We came home to a very clean home and most importantly a happy healthy pup. We were updated regularly with photos and vids which made our time away so much more relaxing knowing our boy was being well looked after. We would 100% recommend and be happy to have her sit for us again.
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
