UDATE:
We've now moved to Australia so are no longer looking for house sits in NZ.

ABOUT US:
Lindsay and I are (relatively) new to house sitting, but have loads of experience looking after pets and animals. I grew up on a farm in Marlborough, before moving away to university, then to the UK - that was 35 years ago. In my youth we had the full range of domestic and farm animals to care for (cows, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks). Lindsay had various cats, chicken, hampster, rabbits and fish as pets. In the years that followed we have looked after a dozen+ pets. We moved back in NZ in Dec 23 to sell and clear my family home in Blenheim. With the house sold, we're trying house sitting and have completed 7 in NZ, most of who have provided reviews on this site. We have 3 sits booked in Australia until 17 January 25, and are open to further sits from late January in Queensland and NSW, Bali, and other places in South East Asia. References can be provided and we're happy to do video calls before any sit is confirmed.

Greg & Lindsay were exceptional house and dog sitters, they were incredibly easy to communicate with and super responsive. They looked after our dog Sox like he was their own, giving us regular updates and photo's of Sox and they walked him multiple times a day. He was one very happy dog. It would be fair to say both Greg and Lindsay went above and beyond. Our house is cleaner than when we left it, including Greg removing cobwebs from the front (the things you never find time to do!). ... MORE

Greg and Lindsay did a good job of caring for our dogs and kept us well informed when one of them was unwell. They communicated well and left the house clean and tidy.

Greg & Lindsay took great care of my cat Felix while we were away. She was looking super happy and healthy when we got back. She has some medication that she needed daily that they were able to take care of. Felt very comfortable that Felix was in good hands while we were away. House was tidy, plants watered and communication was very clear. 10/10 would have them back in a heartbeat.
