Hannah & Simon

Kia Ora!

We are Hannah and Simon; 24 and 23 year olds from the UK. Since graduating with our Bachelors Degrees in 2022, we have been on a mission to explore new countries, working as we go. So far we have spent a year in Australia and now almost a year in New Zealand.

We have worked in a wide range of roles over the past two years spanning from hospitality to forestry and conservation and even to working a ski season in Wānaka!

Our current passion project is travelling. We want to see as much of the world as we possibly can, and wish to do so in as many different ways as possible. From living in hostels long term, to living out of our rooftop tent for months at a time , we've experienced a range of places, people, occupations and activities. We are keen to continue house sitting as we are both animal lovers who have grown up around a variety of different dog breeds. Being away from home for the past 22 months has meant that Hannah has been deprived of furry cuddles and sloppy kisses from her beloved cockapoo, Harley - who is no doubt still barking away at strangers or dust particles that dare to pass by the house.

Simon has grown up with two massive French sheepdogs, both Briards from the same lineage; Oscar and Ollie - both of whom are sadly no longer with us. Similarly, Hannah's childhood family pets, a Golden Retriever and Black Labrador; India and Wilson, who she misses greatly.

Spending time with dogs has always been such a pleasure for us both and brings back fond memories from both of our childhoods. We know there are lots of little personalities out there in our furry friends, and we want to meet as many as we can!

Please be assured that your precious family member will be looked after as our number one priority when we stay in your home. Additionally, having stayed in multiple hostels and share houses throughout university and travelling - we know how important it is to respect others' households and personal property.
