  • My father was a farmer near Timaru when I was a young fella. Too young to remember a lot except respect for big machines, always close the gate and care for animals is the number one priority. Worked in the mines in Oz and drove small trucks, big trucks and forklifts. Spent 2 months on a farm in Israel and drove tractors regularly. Recently cared for Angora goats near Oxford. I've also watched Country Calendar for most of my life! I'm currently caring for a couple of miniature horses (March).

I'm easy going, practically minded and learnt a lot about common sense because I grew up before the internet in the 1960's!!!

Daryl did a great job looking after my house and animals and had great communication throughout his stay keeping me up to date on how things were going with the pets. Would definitely have him back in the future.

Daryl recently cared for our two small dogs, cat and garden while we were overseas. All communication with Daryl (prior, during and after) has been prompt and courteous. Upon our return the house and garden were in fabulous condition, thank you Daryl. The dogs were also happy and healthy when collected by friends when the house sit finished. I highly recommend Daryl for any future House sits.

Daryl has house/pet sat for us twice now and we are happy to share our thoughts on his character. Daryl took care of everything without any fuss or bother. He made immediate friends with our two cats the first time he visited, and I'm sure they miss his kind and efficient care. We arrived home to a spotless house and tidy grounds. I have no hesitation in recommending Daryl to anyone wanting to go away without worrying about the home front.
