60+, retired data analyst and ex farmer

Retired data analyst and ex farmer combining two loves, pets and travelling. Also wish to swap long cold Finnish winters for a warmer climate and see my daughter who lives in Sydney. This year is my third time in Australia doing house and pet sits. Now I would like to explore New Zealand.

I grew up on a farm and have training for taking care of farm animals. I've had cats almost all my life. On a farm we had several species as pets. We had cats, a dog, horses, sheep, chickens, geese, ducks and turkeys.

In addition to Aussie House Sitters, I found sits from Trusted House Sitters and Facebook (13 sits/approx. 150 days so far), all with 5/5 reviews. Please, see the attached summary and reviews of all my sits.

I'm an outdoor non-smoking person and love hiking and cycling on forest trails so I'm in good physical shape. I grow my veggies and know a little about gardening too. Riding a mower is not a problem.

I'm calm and quiet, responsible, down-to-earth, well organized and tidy and would take the best care of your pets, house and garden. I will follow your instructions and give your pets love and a feeling of security.

Heli was prompt when responding to our queries, She kept the house immaculately clean and tidy. Maisie, obviously became attached to Heli quickly and was very comfortable as her carer. We would be more than happy to have Heli sit again.
