I am French/British/Serbian brought up in New Caledonia, have spent much of my life in New Caledonia & Europe, I moved to Australia in 2010, then New Zealand in 2014 where I currently reside in Auckland. I am a NZ citizen. I am honest and caring, I have a lot of compassion for animals, in particular with cats & dogs, as that is what I have the most experience looking after. I have also volunteered for SPCA for one year (2015), here I supported the canine care at Auckland's Mangere Animal Village. I have been house & cat sitting for friends in Auckland since 2015, they have 2 indoor Devon Rex cats. I've done numerous other house sittings for contacts over the years just from word of mouth, and I have grown up with cats/dogs in New Caledonia & France. I am a quiet yet active individual, I really enjoy walks in nature and seeing more of New Zealand so decided to join Kiwi house sitters. It's a great opportunity for me to visit different places.
I am available mostly for long stays depending on area. I have my own car.

Milissa is a real pet lover and my furry friends an I sensed that as soon as she arrived.
It was a real treat being able to go away and know that my pets were going to be well looked after by Milissa. She kept in touch letting me know they were happy and left everything clean and tidy.
I would certainly recommend Milissa and hope that she can return again when I next need a sitter.
I had a good feeling about Milissa from the time I read her profile, to meeting her and leaving her to look after my cat. I was right to feel that way. Her communication was excellent, from initial conversations to texts and videos while I was away. My cat was obviously very happy and perfectly comfortable with Milissa and I don't think she missed me much at all!
I came home to a clean and tidy home and a happy cat.

I feel so very blessed to have had Milissa house sit for me and look after my home and babies. I received very regular texts and wonderful long videos showing all the pets happy, settled and relaxed, My beautiful dog received even more walks and playtime than I give him. Milissa has been an amazing host for us and our two cats Daisy & Joey. They are usually quite shy but quickly became very friendly with her, and we loved having photos sent through of them enjoying her company.
Our original return date was delayed due to flight cancelations and Milissa went above and beyond to help us out in a difficult time. Would highly recommend her to anyone and hopefully we get to see her again :)
Once I met Milissa I felt sure I could trust my house and cat Lucy to her. I was right. I came home to an immaculate house and happy cat and Milissa had cared for my plants as I had asked. I am sure

If you're looking for someone super tidy and respectful who's also great with animals we would highly recommend Milissa. She took care of our home and pets over a long weekend and we felt very confident leaving everything in her capable hands.
