We are a retired couple with a background in doing volunteer work overseas, and have recently spent several years caring for an elderly parent.
We now wish to spend some time exploring our own country by house sitting in various places around New Zealand,

We both grew up with pets and farm animals in our families, and are used to dogs, cats, and hens etc.
Being home owners we understand the importance of having the right people to look after it when we are away.

Debbie is very practical, and enjoys gardening, cooking, renovating, and making things out of wood - she can work with power tools. She keeps a tidy house and section.
Robbie does a lot of research and writing. He also enjoys fixing things, and likes to grow vegetables and fruit trees. He does a regular 6+k daily run and is comfortable taking larger dogs on the run with him. We both enjoy meeting new people, and love the outdoors, walking and swimming, and especially exploring the bush. Non smokers.
During our house sits we are more than happy to go the extra mile and do things about the property for the home owners if they so desire.

Debbie and Rob did a wonderful job of caring for our three pets while we were away. They went above and beyond to ensure that our pets had a great week of care and exercise. Debbie and Rob were great at communicating with us prior to our departure and gave us little updates through out the week of how things were going. We came home to a clean, tidy house. Debbie & Robbie were wonderful house sitters with great communication. We came back to happy, healthy dogs (that had learned a new command or two) and cat, and well cared for home with even some of my never quite got to jobs around the house/ lifestyle plot done!! Really hoping they will be free next time we are away.

Debbie & Robbie did such a fantastic job with our little Kitty. Robbie fixed our gate and cleaned - even after I told them not to! :) An absolutely lovely couple and very good with everything. Would have them back, anytime.

What a pleasure it has been to have Debbie and Robbie looking after our home and our fur babies while we were away. They were beyond all our expectations in the fantastic care they provided. They kept us regularly updated with pictures and messages. So much appreciated. We will certainly be using this lovely couple in the future.. what a great blessing to us to be able to be away and not have any concerns about home. Yes definitely a new friendship formed. We so enjoyed our time and getting to meet you both.
We had Robbie and Debbie look after our dog Moose and cat Coopa for two weeks over Xmas.Could t recommend highly enough.The pets were showered with love and attention and our place was in immaculate condition. We were given very regular updates and photos of the boys and felt so at ease knowing they were there for them
