Jane & Steve

We are Steve and Jane, a retired British/NZ couple who lived in Nelson from 2020-2023 and are returning for a few months in 2025 with a view to coming back permanently.

We are home and former pet owners ourselves and have used pet sitters in the past so understand how important it is to have your home and pets well cared for while you are away.

In the UK we foster dogs for a charity training dogs for deaf people - for the last year we have been looking after and training Alba, a cocker spaniel, until she goes to her deaf recipient. In NZ we fostered cats and kittens and a few puppies for the Nelson SPCA as well as volunteering at the centre looking after cats, dogs and bunnies.

We would take care of your home and pets as if they were our own.
