Jess & Tess

Hello
We are a couple called Jess and Tess (yes!), we have been living in Lyttelton for many years, and Jess is a dear member of the community here especially,
Unfortunately we have had to move out of our house of 8 years because our good friend and landlord is renovating and using the space for his family and kids.
We are looking for something around Lyttelton or Christchurch; to stay close to family here, for short to long term (a few months)
We are currently in Europe until early October, and looking for a housesit from October (short or long) through to next year.
We thought housesitting might be easier than moving into a new place for now.

We are very tidy and neat, we love house plants, we love pets,
Jess has been a dog owner for a long time, and her dog Banjo was a Collie, Huntaway cross, he was very affectionate and loyal and also loved company. She then had a dog called Ruby, which we would take on long walks in the hills, (we love those), we have good experience with dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits and love animals,
Jess has been a long time dog owner, and has experience with sensitive dogs and dogs with unique behaviors and needs.
We have experience with gardens and sustainability, (Jess has a degree in Horticulture and Tess has had many Woofing experiences within communities), we love cooking with fresh food,
We are music lovers but don't play loud music!

We would love to look after your house and/or pets/garden for anything up to a few weeks or a few months (beginning early october)
We are happy to provide references if needed so don't hesitate.
