Hi there! We're the Kearney’s from Wales, and we are thrilled at the opportunity to house sit for you in New Zealand. Our family includes me Ciaran, my wife Angharad, and our two sons (ages 3 and 5).

New Zealand holds a special place in our hearts. We met and worked there for 3 years and returned a few years later to get married in beautiful Wanaka. We’re returning in 2025 to share this amazing place with our boys and reconnect with old friends.

We will be in New Zealand for January and February. We are keen and hopeful to house sit in a number of areas as we have friends spread out across both Islands.

Why Choose Us?
Love for Animals: We adore all animals. Our rescue lurcher, Freddie, is a bouncy, beach-loving companion and a wonderful big brother to our boys. We've also cared for other dogs, cats, fish, and birds, in the past, and we are raising our sons to appreciate and respect all creatures.

Animal Experience: With some experience in working with animals and being long-time vegetarians, our family has a genuine affinity for pets of all kinds. Your pets will be loved and well cared for in our hands.

House Sitting Experience: We have nearly a decade of house sitting experience, primarily for my wife's mother, who works away from home. This has equipped us with the skills to manage a home responsibly and ensure everything runs smoothly.

References Available: We can provide house sitting and character references upon request to assure you of our reliability and trustworthiness.

Loved meeting Ciaran, Angharad and their two boys made us feel like old friends allowing us to relax on our break knowing our Furry son and farm animals were in good hands. They were very accommodating when the in-laws sitter fell through, and their dogs needed a home for the week. Still laughing after all the adventures, the in-law's dogs sent them on haha. We had this family stay at ours for a week to look after our cat and they were great, left my house clean and tidy , they keapt in communications and was over all a great experience, would definitely recommend 👍
