We are friendly, caring family of three.

We are lovers of nature and spend any spare time we can in the bush, the garden, the ocean or the river . We also love playing music , writing , reading, crafting, gardening, and cooking wholesome food and living a healthy, peaceful, sustainable lifestyle.

With our current rental coming to an end we have decided to downsize our possesions and take the chance to do some house sitting and explore some other communities.

Andre works from home and we are a homeschooling family so we are able to be around a lot of the time and give plenty of attention to any animals and plants that need our love :) The home and animals left in our care will be our top priority.

Our 9 year old son Manu loves animals. We haven't been able to own one because of being renters, but as a result have ended up being minders for many friends and neighbours ! .. We have experience with cats , dogs and chickens and I ( Māhina ) grew up on a farm so am comfortable with farm animals too. ( lambs, sheep , farm dogs)

I (Māhina) also love to garden - plants are my passion - so I would be happy to do anything required in the garden while you are away too. I never get sick of weeding and tending to plants, and both Andre and I love to mow lawns - so you can rest assured your property will be well maintained.

We are happy to keep in regular contact if you wish and give you updates so that you can enjoy your holiday knowing your fur children/home/gardens are happy and well.

We are a clean and tidy family and you can be assured that your home will be cared for by us with the upmost respect and care.

We would love to have the opportunity to care for your home , animals , and gardens. By choosing us you would be helping our little family to have a home for a while and we would be very grateful .

I highly recommend Mahina, Andre and Manu! They were so easy to communicate with, and we felt like old friends from the first time we met them. They are a lovely couple and took wonderful care of our four fur babies while we were away for three weeks. Andre, Mahina and Manu sent us lots of photos of them, which we really enjoyed receiving! Our house was left immaculate with some kind little treats to come home too. We would not hesitate to have them housesit again.

He’s quite a sensitive dog with a few special requirements but they took such great care of him! ❤️ Our house was well looked after and very clean and tidy to come home too! 👌 We can’t thank this family enough. Their friendliness, great communication and generosity made our trip away stress free. ❤️ We look forward to seeing them again soon and wish them all the best! 😘

Māhina and her family were simply the loveliest people to look after our dogs and our house. We couldn’t have been happier with the communication from them and our house was so beautifully clean and tidy. We will definitely be looking to get them back to look after our boys when the need arises.

Mahina and Andre are 5 star house sitters. They left the house spotless and our cat was friendlier than ever when we returned. Mahina even left home made bread and a few extra goodies which were welcome surprises after a long flight. They kept in touch regularly. We would thoroughly recommend them for any future house sits.

Māhina and her family were a joy to have looking after my animals, house and garden. They are clearly totally trustworthy, and made me feel as if everything was going to be loved and cared for. When I got home, it was obvious that it all had been! I'd recommend them to anyone who needs someone to care for their menagerie and home.

Mahina and her family. We're wonderful house sitters. We arrived home after 4 months away to happy, relaxed cats and a clean and tidy home. Mahina, had even left us delicious buckwheat bread and kumara Dahl. Which we enjoyed for lunch the next day. I would love for Mahina, Andre and Manu to come again.
