LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY FROM 13 NOVEMBER 2024 - We are kiwis in our early 40s who are kind, caring and responsible. We have enjoyed caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, goats and birds as well as plant/garden watering and care. We have some flexibility to be around during at least some of the day to hang out with your pets if needed. As non-smokers, double vaccinated & boosted, house proud people, we will leave your place clean and tidy. Your pets will definitely be in safe hands while you are away. Look forward to hearing from you!
Megan and Damon were great house sitters, Looked after our motley mix of two cats and two needy dogs, They left the house clean and were easy to communicate with. Would
absolutely use them and again on our next house sit and would happily recommend them to others.
Megan and Damon took excellent care of our 2 big dogs (not an easy task!). They were walked and looked after so that we did not worry about them at all. They also left our house spic and span. It was fantastic to receive updates and photos from them while we were away. Would definitely recommend to others and will use again if we can.

Megan and Damon left our house in a great way; it was nice to come home to a tidy and clean place. They also did a great job at watering our freshly sown lawn seed daily to keep it growing which we were grateful for.

Megan responded at very short notice (the day before) to get me out of a jam when the sitter I had arranged could no longer do the sit. I would usually meet sitters first but I was comfortable that Boh would be in very good hands. It was only for a couple of days, but Megan & Damon did a thorough clean anyway and left the house looking amazing! Boh was happy, getting in lots of cuddles and tail wagging.

So impressed with Megan and partner. This was the first time I used this service and I was a little bit apprehensive, not knowing what to expect. But the first conversation with Megan put me at ease. She had great communication. There were multiple texts before the sit and during, keeping us updated about our cat. The house was left spotless and the washing was all cleaned, out on the line. I could tell just in our conversation on the phone she was experienced as she knew what to ask and I really appreciated knowing all was good when we left. We had a very disappointing experience with Megan and Damon.
Initial communication was good and we arranged for Megan and Damon to house sit.
However at 10pm on what was meant to be the first day of the house sit, Megan messaged that they would no longer be able to do it due to a personal situation.
Then she didn't reply to messages or a request to talk so we didn't know what was happening at home or with our pets.
Our 2 cats were outside and missed 2 meals before we could get someone else ... MORE

Megan and Damon were great house sitters. The house was left very tidy and Freya (our Labrador) seemed totally unphased by our absence so they must have taken good care of her. Communication was good and they sent helpful updates while we were away. I'd certainly have them house sit again.
Really pleased, these folks are just terrific, most certainly should we be away again we would hope that Damon and Megan were available. my only grouse is that all the times we try to keep our white groodle clean, without any luck. Megan has the magic touch and we returned home to a very clean white dog, how on earth, only kidding of course about a grouse we were just surprised. Thanks to both of you. Stan

Wow! What can we say about Megan and Damon!! Absolutely amazing and extremely thorough doesn't even scratch the surface. As animal lovers ( we live on a lifestyle block) it is always a risk and a worry when you leave not only your house, but also your animals in the care of a relative stranger. However, Megan was unbelievable and it quickly became apparent that she too had an animal caring nature as well. Our chickens have never been so well fed and looked after and it was so pleasing to come ... MORE
Megan and Damon were great house sitters who I'd gladly have back again. They were great with pre-sit communication and able to come and visit to go over the details. They kept us updated through the week and left the house in great condition. The animals were loved and looked after really well. Thank you guys, we really appreciated you being such great sitters.
