David & Rosie

Hi. We are a responsible, mature couple visiting NZ from the UK in 2024/25. Rosie is a Kiwi born and bred but has been living in the UK for over 40 years. David is a Brit - originally from Norfolk. We live just outside London and enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren. We’re both retired but try to play an active part in our community. David regularly helps children with special needs to go horse riding with the Riding for the Disabled charity. Rosie was a bereavement counsellor at our local hospice. We are here in NZ for 6 months to a year – who knows? We've visited NZ several times as tourists but, this time, we are just looking to live peacefully in various parts of the country whilst enjoying the outdoors. Consequently, we feel that housesitting will give us the opportunity to really sample Kiwi life, and, hopefully, help you to look after your pets and home. We’re both avid gardeners and maintain a large garden ourselves, so we’re very happy to look after your garden and veges. David is a dab-hand at DIY and lawn mowing. We love animals of all kinds – David has owned horses and we regularly look after our daughter’s gorgeous Labrador, Bodhi. We will look after your home as if it were our own. We look forward to helping you out if we can.
