Leandro Martin

Hello! My name is Leandro Martin, I am 32 years old and I was born in Argentina. This would be my first time as a house sitter, I always wanted to become one but never had the opportunity.

For the past 6 years I have been travelling around Oceania, I lived 4 years in New Zealand and currently I am living in Australia since 2022. Next September I will be leaving Australia and I want to go back to New Zealand to keep exploring the country and visit some of my closest friends which have become my family away from home.

I am a journalist but outside of Argentina I did different jobs: I was a dishwasher, housekeeper, forklift driver, calf rearer, kiwi picker and many more!

I am a calm person, very clean, who enjoys spending time alone, travelling and meeting new people, cultures or experimenting new foods. When I am at home I love watching movies, reading and if I have the chance contemplate the sunrise or the sunset.

I love animals and I miss so much my cat, Bono. Back home in Argentina I used to live with my mom, my sister and Bono.

While I was living in New Zealand I had the opportunity to live in Ranfurly, Wanaka, Cromwell, Tauranga, Hastings and Auckland. I visited many different amazing places around the country like the Abel Tasman National Park, the Tongariro, Milford Sound, Mount Cook, Mount Taranaki and more. I really love New Zealand and its people.

I am looking for a house from September to October-November because I have a ticket for Pearl Jam´s concert in Auckland the 10th of November so I would love to take care of a lovely pet and a house during this time.
