Maxime & Valerie

Hello to whomever is reading this :D!!!

Our names are Valérie and Maxime and we are a young couple from Montreal (we've been together for the past 14 years). We have been living on the road for the last 7 years, doing seasonal contracts (Max is a chef and Val a pastry chef) and travelling around the globe!!!

We love to discover new places, meet people and being free to move around when we want :). This life give us a freedom we though was hard to find otherwise.

We are both nature lovers and always ready to go outside and enjoy the day (hiking, running, camping)

Despite that, we enjoy our time inside too and love the peace of mind and quietness it can give us. A typical day inside would be reading a book, playing board games, studying (Val is studying naturopathy and Max accounting) and of course cooking (we cook alot) :D.

Also, as I think it is important to let know the owner that we don't smoke.

We both speak English, French and a little bit of Spanish so communicating should be easy.

Pets were always a part of our lives and loved being around the (dogs, cats, ferrets, birds and mini pigs).

We started pet sitting with some of our friends pets and we loved it very much. Then, a friend told us about TrustedHouseSitters. We looked into it and simply got amazed... Pet and house sitting as well as helping the owner finding a way to enjoy some vacation with a peace of mind, all this while traveling and exploring sounded like an amazing concept.

And so here we are, giving it a shot!

We are ready to sits any kind of pets, some which we have experiences with but also those which we have less or don't have any.

We try to spend most of our time with the pets and develop a good relationship with them! We like to play with them, go out for walks or just enjoy the sun in the garden, rub their bellies, cuddles (a lot of it :D) and in the end, hopefully, be best buds ^_^. We also love to give daily update and will send you pictures (depending on your wants)!

As for the housesitting, we love to stay in a clean and tidy place. We have been housekeepers for a couple of months in the past and so, when you come back, your house is gonna be as you left it! We are not the best at fixing things, but if you have some chores to do around the house, we could learn and do it! Also we love to work in the garden and take care of plants!!!

Lastly, we love to meet people and talk with them so we could share a meal or just chat over a tea before you go or after you come back if you would like :)!
