I am currently house sitting in New Plymouth until 21 January 2025. Happy to care for pets (cats dogs horses etc). I've worked in the UK as a Live in Carer, for the last 11 years, so years of experience living in other people's homes. I'm a bit of a clean freak, like things tidy and away where they should be. No problem to mow lawns and do gardening. Will have my own vehicle so transport to rural areas not a problem.
I have a rental property in Taranaki and don't want to evict my elderly tenant, It has been wonderful to have the current house sit where Im caring for Ted the dog, house, gardens and lawns.
We have a dog friendly 4wd.

Josefa and Alan were AMAZING! Even though we were out of the country, they still communicated with me (not that we needed to). I came home to a very happy fur baby and a beautifully presented home...totally unexpected as it was better than I left it 😀 Would 100% recommend!

We highly recommend Josefa as a house sitter. She looked after our place better than we do, the house was really clean and tidy, the gardens done thoughtfully, the lawns mowed and edges done better than I do. When we communicated with her she always responded quickly and answered any questions we had. Our two cats were very well cared for in our absence. An excellent experience all round from our end. Thank Josefa, and we wish you well.

Best house sitter we could have asked for! Josefa and Alan went above and beyond looking after our property and our cat Bilbo. We returned to the house looking nicer than when we left it! Every shelf was clean, the linen cupboard sorted, kitchenware washed, the lawns perfect. They were wonderful with our cat Bilbo and even brought him special food. Would definitely recommend!
