I grew up in Germany and am currently living in Hamburg but used to live in Dunedin (NZ) with my family & go to school there when I was younger. I am now back to spend some time in my second home and taking a break of around 5 months from my current job in the film industry looking to maybe find a new path and spark some inspiration.

In Hamburg I live with our cat Yuna which I will miss dearly while being away. I thought that house / pet sitting could be a wonderful match for me here. While I enjoy the traveling life and exploring the great outdoors and towns of this beautiful country, I also like the feeling of someone being around and having a task & responsibility (being needed) along with some structure. So this house- and pet sitting situation feels like a win win situation for me which I would love to incorporate into my travels from now on. I am really looking forward to my new short and longer term "travel buddies". It would be an honour.

My friends - whom I asked to give me some input - describe me as a responsible, loyal, caring and humorous person that pays attention & learns quickly.
I am a non smoker and live cleanly, taking care of mine and other peoples homes. I also really enjoy digging my hands in garden dirt - so happy to be of help here, too.

Besides our own cat Yuna I have taken care of quite some cats and loved them all, some dogs, have been around horses and the jobs involved quite a bit in my life, and love all other animals. Together with my sister I have also taken care of chinchillas.
I love sheep, goats, pigs, farm animals in general.
I haven't had that much experience in taking care of feathered buddies but would love to learn if his is something you could imagine.

To finish off this description: I know what it means to give your good friend and home into the hands of someone else. This is why I will be very conscientious about this honour and task given to me and look forward to getting to know you and your friends.

P.S.: I am open for pet sitting but also house sitting without pets just looking after the house and garden.
